The Commonwealth Games draws to a close at GlasgowÂ’s Hampden Park in a colorful ceremony celebrating 11 energetic days. The games first took place in 1930 and have taken place since then besides 1942 and 1946 which were cancelled because of World War II. Over the decades there have been many records set including a number of world records.
